Santiago’s Story

It all started two years ago when I stopped attending youth group, because I felt alone and isolated. I thought avoiding youth was the best thing to do, but I was wrong. By pushing it away, I was also ignoring Jesus, not realising that I was only hurting myself.

Everything began to change when I heard about a youth group in Dubai Production City called City Lights. At first, I didn’t want to go. I felt stuck in a cycle that would never end, but from the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. Every person I met there became part of Jesus’ work in my life. Through them, He was reaching out to me in many ways.

Over these past two years at City Lights, I have grown closer to Jesus, who has become like a father to me. Through this journey, I realised that in all the 18 years of my life, I had never been baptised. So I made a bold decision to get baptized at City Lights. This is a moment I chose never to forget, and right now I am living my life through Jesus.
