What is Baptism?

• Following Jesus’ Example – Jesus Himself was baptized! (Matthew 3:13-17).
•  A Public Declaration – Sharing your faith with others and celebrating with your church family.

Why Should I Be Baptized?

Baptism is an act of obedience and faith. Here’s why it matters:

• Jesus Commanded It – He told His followers to be baptized (Matthew 28:19-20).
• It’s a Sign of Your Commitment – The early church baptized new believers right away (Acts 2:38).
• It’s an Act of Surrender – Baptism represents giving your whole life to Jesus, trusting Him fully, and letting Him lead (Galatians 2:20).

  • No—salvation comes through faith in Jesus (Ephesians 2:8-9). But baptism is an important step of obedience and celebration!
